cropped-avatar3.jpgThe second installment of Crazy Ass Horror Film Deaths or CAHFD, lol.  It’s fun scouring Youtube and the interweb for unique or memorable clips of deaths in film; often watching a clip and remembering a long forgotten film or becoming interested in new ones.  Why do we watch horror flicks….for the killing, the blood, the guts, the gore and to a lesser extent the scares.  I have compiled a short list of a few memorable death scenes that have stuck with me over the years.  Graphic Clips probably NSFW.  Here they are in no particular order.

The Cabin in the Woods (2012) IMDB – Merman Death; this was a pretty cool death scene, mainly due to the irony involved with the character, also when the shit have you ever seen a merman in a film; never (or if you have lemme know!).

Day of the Dead (1985) IMDB – This one is a classic zombie gut munch, in all of it’s bloody splendor. The death of Captain Rhodes, courtesy of Day of the Dead circa 1985.

Slither (2006) IMDB– I loved the movie slither; what a body horror bloodbath it was. Of the numerous grotesque deaths scattered throughout the flick, this one stood out.

SAW 5 (2008) IMDB– While I did get somewhat tired of the SAW franchise, the creative death scenes kept me watching. Introducing the coffin trap.

Zombi 2: Flesh Eaters(Zombie) (1979) IMDB– Fucli classic. This is a straighup eye gouging scene, slow, agonizing and graphic. One of the best eye gouging scenes in horror. Enjoy.

  1. Tyson Carter says:

SAW is amazing, all of them 🙂

  2. You need to see ‘Camp Sleepaway’….a girl gets a hot curling iron up her cooch. That was pretty extreme.
