Dawn of the Dead (2004) on IMDb

March 19, 2004 saw the release of Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead, a reimagining of George Romero’s classic zombie film of the same name. Dawn of the Dead 2004, is easily one of the best zombie films ever produced or remade, in my opinion ofcourse. It sits in the top 5 of my all time favorite horror films. From the tense opening sequences to the frantic escape at the crossroads mall, Dawn of the Dead is a near perfect example of how a classic film should be remade. The acting was superb, the fx were excellent and the score was spot on. Dawn of the Dead is full of zombie mayhem and gut munching goodness, pleasing to any fan of the genre. I know the die-hards and remake haters out there bitch about every film that is redone (and in alot of cases, butchered) but I think most people would be hard pressed to find to many flaws with this film. Instant classic all the way. Watch this film at all costs! Check out the original trailer and some screenies below…..
