Hemlock Grove is an upcoming American horror/thriller television series for Netflix from executive producer Eli Roth, developed by Brian McGreevy & Lee Shipman, and produced by Gaumont International Television. It is based on McGreevy’s novel Hemlock Grove, which was released on March 27, 2012. On January 9, 2013, Netflix announced that Hemlock Grove will premiere April 19, 2013. Bored outta my mind last night and in the mood for some old school horror, I scrolled crackflix in search of some bloody nostalgia. I came across many tempting entries along the way; The Stuff, Terrorvision and Phantasm. Undecided in which direction I should go; monster, slasher, alien goo or zombie I flipped a coin and settled on Howling V: The Rebirth. It’s been years since I’ve watched a Howling flick, and I was stoked for some werewolf mayhem. Wow. The Howling V was absolute 80’s cheese (filmed in 89 released in 90). (more…)
